Next weekend marks the end of daylight savings where clocks go back one hour. What has this got to with security you ask?

Well, if you have a CCTV system it’s important that the time and date are embedded into the footage are correct in case it’s required as evidence.

And if you have an alarm system that auto-arms then it’s vital that the time is correct. It’s also a timely reminder to check batteries and carry out maintenance.
